    Sheridan Meadows

    Sheridan Meadows is Eldridge's largest park. Located off South 1st Avenue, Sheridan Meadows Park provides fun for the entire family. Amenities include baseball/softball diamonds,  soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, brand new pickleball courts, an area with outdoor exercise equipment, concessions, shelters, and bathrooms.

     

    Centennial Park

    Centennial Park is a two acre neighborhood park that offers a number of recreational activities.  Amenities include a modular playground area, two sets of swings, one full basketball court, and one ball field.  The park also includes one green space and one covered shelter with electricity.  The park is centrally located and has sufficient on street parking.  Centennial Park is oriented for ages 5 and up.

     

    Crandall Park

    Crandall Park is a 1.5 acre neighborhood park that contains a modular playground feature, swings, a merry-go-round, and one small tee-ball diamond. The park also includes a covered shelter and has ample on-street parking. Crandall Park serves the juvenile age group of 5 to 13 years old.

     

    Wiese Park

    Named after long-time community members Bob & Luella Wiese, this charming green space is located centrally in Eldridge at the intersection of North Second and Davenport streets. Wiese Park is most often utilized as a center stage for Eldridge festivals and events. The sidewalk is lined with engraved bricks as part of Eldridge's Sponsor-A-Brick program.     Elmegreen Park

    Elmegreen Park is a 1.5 acre neighborhood park that offers a modular playground feature, swings and half-court basketball court. Other aspects of the park include two covered shelters and a creek with two steel grate walking bridges. Elmegreen Park is bordered on the north by LeClaire Road. On street parking is available along 8th St. in front of the park. Elmegreen is oriented to the toddler and juvenile age groups.

     

    Franklin Park

    Franklin Park is a quiet one acre park tucked in at the west end of Franklin St. Currently the park contains one picnic table and a small soccer field or multi-use green space.  Amenities include one modular playground facility, swings, and slides designed to serve toddlers or young children.

     

    Eldridge Dog Park

    Located one block East of Eldridge Rec & Fitness on South 16th Avenue, the dog park is a great place to bring your beloved four-legged family members. Between the exercise, sunshine, and other friendly dogs, you will love seeing your pets so lively each time you take them.

     

    Outdoor Skatepark

    Located on the corner of South 1st Street and East Iowa Street, the Eldridge Outdoor Skatepark is across the road from North Scott High School. Ramps, rails, and more, the skatepark has a wide variety of equipment that skaters of all ages can enjoy.
